Ioan De Moisa

Ioan de Moisa is an artist from Romania, born on June 2, 1989.

He studied at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in painting, after graduating from Aurel Popp Art High School in Satu Mare.

With a canvas as vast as the landscapes he paints, Ioan finds his muse in the rolling hills and dense forests of Transylvania, where nature's allure weaves into the fabric of his artistry. However, his creative journey extends far beyond geographical boundaries, having been deeply influenced by the lush jungles of Bali, Indonesia, and the rich tapestry of culture found in Togo, Africa – places he's called home. Through his brushstrokes, Ioan doesn't just capture scenery; he crafts introspective landscapes that mirror the complexities of the human spirit. Each painting becomes a portal into his own psyche, offering viewers a solitary glimpse into the artist's mental and spiritual odyssey.

In Ioan's art, the external world merges seamlessly with the internal, inviting audiences to embark on a journey of self-discovery amidst the vibrant hues and captivating vistas he brings to life.
